my oh my... i've got so much to update, yet totally have no idea where i should start. so... i shall (try to) keep everything short and sweet. or rather, what i can remember. i believe in "a picture tells a thousand words". . . . . . . . . . THERE GOES! . . . . . . . in Zurich before Christmas. doing some crazy Christmas chocolates shopping @ Lindt's Chocolate Factory!
Part I: sentosa Part II: christmas dinner Part III: stayover and for all these, we intended to rent a car. Part I: Cancelled. why? one working, one cant make it, one had last min medicial appointment, the other one totally knocked out when she came back in the morning. how to go sentosa like that? Part III: Cancelled. why? everyone's tired, and has plan for the next day... SO, that left us fulfilling just 1/3 of our perfect plan. boohoo. and there, our LATE night dinner + gift exchange @ CHIJMES.  i hope they dont reuse the coaster though. 'cause we had our initials writen on it for gift exchanging purpose!we wanted dessert, but because it wasnt the Eve yet, the shops closed early as usual. boohoo no. 2! it's ok... Christmas still comes! 24.12.2008 went to meet my boy with big bags small bags.. all geared up, for the gathering. my boy took over the driver's seat. and me? helping him to run the errand. (can i put it in this way?)  we had a lil' of those time management problem. so we ended up rushing to get the turkey and ham, rushing to get the presents ready for gift exchange, rushing back to get the turkey heated up and to get the presents wrapped up. we made it, but we couldn't find the location. ahem* for some reason...... (like in fairytales, there's always some bad guys/evil character trying to be funny and messing things up.) nevertheless, everything went on smoothly and the only boohoo was we only get to eat our turkey @ 9pm! we were all starving and we forgot to take a picture of the feast before we dig in. and we had to only realised it when it became like this.  haha! the best we could do.  played games, gift exchange.. then home sweet home. it's not a keychain nor it's a pin.but it's special because it's one and only, and it comes in a pair... Merry Christmas! no Christmas is not magical as long as the companion is right. =) believe it or not, it took us almost 3 hours to leave where we were to where we want to go.01.01.2009 HAPPY 2009! the fireworks were good, but the crowd was terrible. packed like sardine; dont even need to put in effort to walk 'cause we're practically being pushed out. it was spectacular.. however, we were probably at the wrong spot.. and gg off at the wrong time.  had supper, slack, then finally.. our SHORT getaway - to the highlands. =) K.O. on the way there, didnt even bothered to get down the bus for toilet breaks and stuff.  food - the very first thing we looked for the moment we alighted.it may sound a lil silly, but yes.. we had MacDonald's and later on came to know that we had to wait so long to check in. yes, it was a 3 hrs wait. like wth?   we walked the whole mall, feeling fatigue.. and figured out that it wasnt worth it to be gg to the themepark that evening.so we caught a late night movie instead.  im still a child at heart.and MY, i love these horses.  Day 2all set to go!  to our dismay, the weather wasnt too good for themepark.look at the mist! or should i say clouds? no rides when it's pouring!  we decided that we could better use those $$ we had for better food. hang around and fool around.. go back and relax.. MORE food..... and go for another round of movies.that pretty much ended our SHORT getaway. before we leave, we got those tasty banana muffin from Kenny Rogers which spore doesnt has.  and my all time fav - Starbucks. and ohla! i got a new scarf. =)it wasn't that bad right? to be able to get away from reality even for a couple of days.. wad's more we'd got a chance to be taking a picture of us in  oh wait!that's my snack thru'out the journey back. chocolate teddy + crispy banana honey. YUM!  too much snack, too much supper recently! sucha NONO! NEW YEAR RESOLUTION? take a step at a time. i guess i need to do smth about my indecisive-ness first. dontcha agree? it's gg to be a good year. i hear the wedding bells, someone's gonna be freed, and it means im getting nearer to finish bond.
