The girl,
who is always indecisive.

Being a Libra, im always trying to balance things up on the scales.
im beginning to love Summer because Summer is always bright. im into dresses because i think wearing pants can be a hassle. being Indecisive is probably the one thing that has NEVER change in me.

Introducing the Country where everything is possible..
AMSTERDAM!

.
.
.
.
.
.
here, i strongly recommend Amsterdam if you're thinking of going to Europe for a tour.
not only it's peaceful, but also a beautiful beautiful place. with very pleasant people too.

so, what do you think of when people mentioned Holland?
tulips, windmills, wooden clogs, drugs-free-for-all, sex, big windows, canals...

and there in Day 1,
we took a walk down to the Dam Square passing thru' the street where flowers are everywhere, and then to the Red Light District.

seeds for sale! and yes, i had junk food on the way cause i was starving like mad.
and the others was telling me how nice the fries was and pyscho-ing me to get it.the hungry girl got her fries of cause! hungry girl with food = happy. =D

Being a happy girl with her slightly satisfied stomach,
we proceeded towards the Red Light District...
WAHAHA!see the red curtains?
that means that there are some "business" going in there when the curtains are drawn.
OPPS!there's sex shop EVERYWHERE! and selling vibraters all around!must be thinking "what are you doing there?!!" right?
it's like a tourism place. where you actually see a lot of tourist walking along the street, be it young or old.

then, we had Indonesian food for dinner after sunset.
'cause the Muslims are fasting (FYI, im the only chinese amongst the juniors. Majorities are Muslims), thus we did not go to Castell for their famous ribs and lambs earlier in the day. =(

oh wait.
before i talk about day 2,
let me share this interesting thing with you people!
see the hooks up at the top near the roof.. it's not for people to hang themselves.
it is the only way used to bring up those furniture or whatever up to the house because the houses are too narrow and it's impossible to bring the furniture up the way we do it here..
interesting hor?

the sun sets and the sun rises..
and off we went to the Dutch CountrySide Tour @ EURO 41 before the discount we had.
that's about SGD$80.

the tour guide mentioned the Amstelhotel. so i supposed it's some kind of landmark/prominent place? the weather was good. about 10-15 degree celcius, with mr sunny sun sun. =)

the 1st stop: the cheese factory
"every 10 litres of milk, we get 1KG of cheese."different different flavours!according to the tour guide, there are 2millions of cows there and the cheese are made with the milk from the cows, sheep and goats.
i tell you.. cows, goats, sheep and horses are EVERYWHERE!

2nd stop: Edam. "a City not a town" (emphasized by the guide)
where we stopped and look at the canals and beautiful scenaries.

3rd stop: Volendam-Marken. fishing habour/village.

love this pic lar! =)

taken on the boat to Marken from Volendam.
Marken.
see those "pillars" underneath the houses?
that's to prevent the water from reaching their houses. smart people!!
and then we proceeded to the wooden shoes factory and the windmills.
look at the boots-like wooden clogs! and the beautifully engraved ones..
to your knowledge, the wood that is used to make the clogs are wet (not those very dry ones), so it makes cutting easier. it is a very smooth kind of wood and it take 2 hours to complete a shoe by hand and only 5 mins when a machine does it! after which, it is left to dry for 4 weeks before it's being polished. it is waterproof and can keep you warm! it's being worn out to the farm to keep the feet dry. =)
one shape, many many design, colours and sizes! (sounds like crocs? hoho!)fits me nicely.
almost bought. but too expensive to be kept in my cupboard.
inside the windmill - for graining peanuts for oil.beautiful, lovely weather...at the top of the windmill.we were then brought back to Dam Square, where we requested to leave the group and went walking around the shop before having our dinner and back to rest.
the mask and spiderman spotted at Dam Square! LOL!
the New York Pizze bigger than my face! =/Finally finally done with loading the pictures.
it took me a few hours in many days ok!

im losing my momentum to blog.
im so going to take a break before i rant about the many junk food i've been having these 2 days!

thank you BF! with many love. =)
